PSG to Receive Ligue 1 Trophy in Pre-Match Ceremony at Stade Jean-Bouin
PSG to Celebrate French Championship Title at Stade Jean-Bouin
Paris, May 2026 – The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) team is set to receive their French championship trophy this Sunday at Stade Jean-Bouin, marking the club’s 14th Ligue 1 title. The celebration comes after a decisive victory against RC Lens, which secured their position at the top of the league.
Adapted ceremony due to schedule constraints
Typically, the trophy presentation occurs at the team’s last home game, but this year’s schedule didn’t allow for that. PSG had already played their final home match at Parc des Princes against Stade Brestois 29 before clinching the title.
Final arrangements for trophy presentation
Initially, there were plans for the trophy to be awarded during the last match of the Ligue 1 season against Paris FC. However, this was dismissed as the club opted against holding a post-match ceremony on their opponent’s field.
Planned celebration details
A compromise has been reached with the trophy presentation planned for 8 PM, an hour before the match begins. The ceremony will be brief and without a podium to avoid interfering with the pre-match protocols, including the team’s warm-up at 8:30 PM.
Presentation to fans
After the presentation, the trophy will be shown to PSG supporters in their designated section. With approximately 1,000 tickets allocated to PSG fans, the club has requested their early arrival to enjoy the celebration fully.
