He stated: “It has been a long time since we said Osimhen is not in discussions with PSG. He is not negotiating with PSG. It is he, through his agents, who is stoking the flames around a possible move, but there isn’t even the beginning of a conversation.”

Just days ago, Daniel Riolo also hinted at the slim chances of Victor Osimhen joining the PSG squad before the summer transfer window closes. He remarked about the striker from Napoli: “Honestly, if Osimhen arrives by the 31st, it would mean that there are very important people in this club who are failing to make crucial decisions. It indicates that the club is not functioning as it should. This wouldn’t be the choice of Luis Campos, nor likely that of Luis Enrique, and perhaps even less so for Enrique.”
