Tottenham Confident Ahead of UEFA Super Cup Clash Against PSG: “Not Invincible”
Tottenham set to challenge PSG: "They are not invincible"
In a highly anticipated showdown, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain are set to clash this Wednesday in the UEFA Super Cup final. The match will take place at the Friuli Stadium, pitting the recent winners of the Champions League against those of the Europa League.
Tottenham approaches the match with confidence
While PSG enters the match as favorites, Tottenham is unfazed by the formidable Parisian lineup. Ben Davies, a key player for the Spurs, believes that his team, led by Thomas Frank, possesses the necessary tools to pull off an upset.
Learning from previous PSG defeats
The Welsh defender suggests that taking cues from the few teams that have recently beaten PSG could be crucial. In the Club World Cup, both Botafogo and Chelsea managed to secure wins against the French champions, with scores of 1-0 and 3-0, respectively.
"Facing PSG means going up against one of the world’s best teams, with talent across all positions," Davies expressed to the press. "While it will be a significant challenge, their performances this summer showed they are not invincible. By focusing on those instances, we aim to boost our confidence and strive to deliver our best to win."
As the stage is set for this thrilling encounter, all eyes will be on whether Tottenham can indeed topple the giants from Paris.
