Randal Kolo Muani Joins Juventus on Loan from Paris Saint-Germain for Six Months
In a significant transfer move, Randal Kolo Muani has officially left Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to join Juventus on a temporary basis. The French international had fallen out of favor at PSG under coach Luis Enrique, seeing little to no playing time.
Confirmed Departure amid Limited Playing Time
The anticipated departure of Kolo Muani from PSG has now been confirmed. The 24-year-old forward will join Juventus FC on a six-month loan deal, with the Italian club covering his salary. Notably, there is no buyout clause included in the agreement.
Kolo Muani had been sidelined, as Enrique opted not to include him in matchday squads. Initially, the player had expressed a desire to move to the Premier League, but after discussions with Juventus’ coach Thiago Motta, he was convinced to make the switch to Serie A. PSG had considered selling him but did not receive any lucrative offers.
Motivation to Retain National Team Spot
One of Kolo Muani’s key motivations for this move is his desire to gain more playing time and maintain his position in the French national team. With limited minutes on the pitch in recent months, he risks being overlooked by national coach Didier Deschamps in favor of players with more consistent performances.
At Juventus, Kolo Muani is expected to showcase his talent, particularly under Motta’s rotation strategy. The next national team roster from Deschamps is anticipated to be announced in March, and Kolo Muani is keen to be part of it.
