Oukidja Reveals Heated Exchanges with Mbappé During Ligue 1 Rivalry
During a recent appearance on the streaming platform hosted by Metz-based streamer Flodas, Alexandre Oukidja, the former Metz goalkeeper, shared intriguing insights into his tumultuous interactions with some of Ligue 1’s top players, notably Kylian Mbappé. The Algerian international, who has made seven appearances for his national team, did not hold back in his revelations.
Unfiltered Conversations with Mbappé
Oukidja recounted his early impressions of Mbappé, stating, “Initially, I didn’t know him, but I’ve come to understand his personality. When things go south—if we’re losing by one, two, or three goals—he’ll come over and say, ‘Excuse me, I’m sorry.’ However, as soon as he feels pressured or has an off game, he resorts to insulting players and their families, telling them to ‘go f*** themselves.’
A Heated Reaction After a Paris Goal
This wasn’t an isolated incident. Oukidja went on to describe a particular moment that exemplified Mbappé’s temperament. Following a goal by Achraf Hakimi that secured a win for Paris Saint-Germain, Oukidja noted that Mbappé, who was not involved in the play, took a detour just to hurl insults at him: “Go f*** your mother, you filthy son of a…” This prompted Oukidja to retort, “Listen, you act like the perfect gentleman in front of the cameras, but in reality, you’re a real piece of work.”
Lingering Tensions on the Pitch
Since these exchanges, Oukidja claimed that animosity brewed every time Metz faced off against PSG. He recounted how their subsequent meeting at the Parc des Princes was marked by tension. During that match, he intentionally let his knee linger on Mbappé’s ankle during a tackle, a moment he has preserved with a photograph as a reminder of their heated rivalry.
