PSG’s Lucas Lavallée Loaned to Aubagne for Much-Needed Playing Time in National

Overwhelmed by competition, a young Parisian player is set to gain experience in the National league next season.

While Paris Saint-Germain is keen to offload several unwanted players, the club is also actively seeking solutions for those struggling with limited playing time.

Lucas Lavallée loaned to Aubagne by PSG

Faced with fierce competition from international stars Gianluigi Donnarumma and Matvey Safonov for the goalkeeper position, 21-year-old Lucas Lavallée found himself with little chance of securing any game time this season. Having progressed through various youth squads, he has yet to truly kickstart his career. Last season, Lavallée was loaned to Dunkerque but only managed to feature in three Coupe de France matches. To gain essential playing experience, he is now leaving the capital once again, this time heading south to Aubagne. At a club recently promoted to the National league, Lavallée will have the opportunity to showcase his talent at the third tier of French football and hopefully make a significant impact.
