PSG Tops LOSC with Vitinha’s Penalty Inspired by Neymar

“The penalty? I used to take penalties for the B team at Porto, and I had already been shooting a bit like that. I’ve observed players, and Neymar was among those I looked up to. I really like that way of taking a shot. I shouldn’t say too much, or next time it might turn out differently (laughs!),” Vitinha shared in an interview with DAZN.

“I want to replicate last year’s success”

“I feel comfortable this way; it’s tough for the goalkeeper. Fortunately, it went in. Do I feel more important to my teammates? I don’t think so. I felt significant last season as well. This year, I want to replicate that importance in the team. I’ve sensed that I’ve contributed positively, and I aim to keep it up. If the team continues winning, that’s perfect,” Vitinha added.
