FIFA has unveiled PSG’s match schedule: The Parisians will kick off their campaign on June 15 in Los Angeles against Atletico Madrid. Their second match will also take place in Los Angeles against Botafogo on June 19. The team will conclude the group stage on June 23 in Seattle.
Blaise Matuidi optimistic about PSG’s prospects
Speaking to beIN Sports, PSG legend Blaise Matuidi shared his thoughts on the tournament and the future opponents of the Parisian team. He expressed confidence in PSG’s potential to achieve great results.
“It’s a tough group with Atletico Madrid, whom we’re familiar with, and Botafogo, fresh off their Copa Libertadores victory. Seattle, the American team, was the CONCACAF champion in 2022. So, it’s going to be a challenging group, but we have the qualities needed to aim for success and qualification, which is obviously the goal,” he stated.
