PSG Shifts Focus to Summer Transfers After Champions League Triumph
Following their Champions League triumph, PSG is already back to the grind. The Parisian club is fully focused on the upcoming summer transfer window and has reportedly started talks with Napoli to offload one of their surplus players.
The pace at PSG is relentless. After an impressive quadruple achievement, the club is gearing up for the upcoming Club World Cup set to kick off in just a few days. Simultaneously, the French outfit is concentrated on the summer transfer market, determined to part ways with all unnecessary players.
Among those on the chopping block is Carlos Soler. The Spanish midfielder has spent this season on loan at West Ham in the Premier League but is expected to return to Paris at the end of June. According to reports from Sky Italia, Napoli has initiated discussions with PSG to acquire the 28-year-old midfielder.
West Ham unlikely to trigger purchase option
West Ham had the option to purchase Soler but is not expected to exercise it. The Spanish international has struggled to make a significant impact in the Premier League, leading to the possibility of a move to the recent Serie A champions, especially as Luis Enrique does not plan to utilize him in the upcoming season.
