PSG Shifts Focus in Transfer Market, Eyes Ademola Lookman as Key Target
Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly shifting its focus away from two high-profile targets identified by Luis Campos, while still recognizing the need for a significant boost to their attacking line.
The Parisian club is moving into a more decisive phase. Luis Campos and his recruitment team have begun sorting through potential signings, distinguishing between those to pursue aggressively and those to set aside. According to Téléfoot, Victor Osimhen and Rayan Cherki are no longer on the radar for the January 2025 transfer window. Osimhen, currently at Galatasaray, is deemed unattainable and has yet to convince coach Luis Enrique of his suitability.
Similarly, Cherki has not captured the attention of PSG for the upcoming winter transfer. The Capital’s team is specifically seeking a versatile winger to challenge Bradley Barcola. Neither Osimhen nor Cherki fits this requirement. Should Milan Skriniar depart, PSG is also looking to acquire another right-sided center-back.
Is Ademola Lookman the answer?
In the event of Randal Kolo Muani’s sale, one name stands out: Ademola Lookman, the standout winger from Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio. The Nigerian international is excelling this season and was previously linked with PSG last summer. Ultimately, the transfer did not materialize…
While Lookman does not have an exit pass for this winter, he may be persuaded to explore new opportunities. Atalanta is reportedly valuing him at around €60 million.
