PSG Set for Major Changes with Two Key Departures Imminent
Exciting changes are on the horizon for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the club is set to announce significant departures in the coming hours. The departures include Marc Armstrong, the club’s general manager of revenues, and Nicolas Arndt, who oversees ticketing, hospitality, and off-match activities at the Parc des Princes. Both individuals are reportedly heading towards new ventures.
This summer’s transfer window provided an opportunity for PSG, under the leadership of Luis Enrique, to reshape and strengthen the squad in crucial areas. While the overhaul was somewhat successful, it appears the club had hoped to secure an additional offensive player to compensate for Kylian Mbappé‘s exit and Gonçalo Ramos‘ early-season injury. In total, PSG welcomed four new additions: Matvey Safonov, Joao Neves, Désiré Doué, and Willian Pacho.
Stability in PSG’s Leadership
Despite some changes within the squad, PSG’s leadership remains unchanged. The club continues to be led by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who has opted to retain the duo of Luis Enrique and Luis Campos. They will continue their efforts in the French capital this season. However, the organizational structure is expected to see slight adjustments with the imminent departures of Armstrong and Arndt.
Key Departures at PSG
According to reports from L’Equipe, both Marc Armstrong and Nicolas Arndt are poised to leave PSG. Armstrong, who served as the general manager of revenues, is expected to join Jean-Claude Blanc at Manchester United. Meanwhile, Arndt, responsible for ticketing, hospitality, and off-match activities at the Parc des Princes, is set to take on the role of revenue director at Strasbourg.
