PSG Not Open to Selling Kang-in Lee Amid Premier League Interest This January
As English media and the L’Equipe report on potential Premier League interest in Kang-in Lee, the Paris Saint-Germain has made its stance clear regarding the South Korean player.
While PSG’s winter transfer window focuses mainly on offloading Randal Kolo Muani and Milan Skriniar, Kang-in Lee’s name is increasingly mentioned. Highly regarded by coach Luis Enrique, the attacking midfielder has found himself at the center of speculation this transfer season. Reports from The Athletic suggested that Arsenal is interested in Lee, while transfer expert Fabrizio Romano noted that two other Premier League clubs are also keen, although their identities remain undisclosed.
However, according to information from L’Equipe, PSG is not looking to sell.
No sale of Kang-in Lee this winter
According to PSG correspondent Loïc Tanzy, the club is “not open to a sale” at this time. The player himself is “waiting to see how the market unfolds.” While the interest is real, the likelihood of Kang-in Lee making a move this winter seems slim unless a substantial offer comes in.
This season, Kang-in Lee is one of the only players, along with Bradley Barcola, to have participated in every match for PSG. Luis Enrique has repeatedly praised his versatile player, stating, “He has a brilliant attitude, his quality is undeniable, and he has great potential for growth” before the Trophée des Champions, highlighting Lee’s impressive background from Mallorca.
