PSG Faces Scandal as Trainer Charged with Minor Corruption

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club is currently facing a scandal that has cast a shadow over its otherwise successful start to the season. A 27-year-old teacher from the club’s training center has been summoned to the Versailles correctional court on charges of corruption involving minors. Allegations against him include inappropriate conduct with students, such as kissing one on the neck and soliciting explicit content from others.

A Shocking Arrest

On Monday, September 16, a teacher from PSG’s training academy was taken into custody and questioned by authorities, according to reports from RMC Sport. This individual has been accused of corrupting minors and had previously been under scrutiny from the club for questionable behavior towards students. Following warnings and a suspension, he ultimately resigned from his position.

Serious Allegations Surface

The allegations against this teacher are alarming. One student claims that he was kissed on the neck by the educator. Multiple reports from students indicate that he requested photos of their feet and made inappropriate propositions, including massages and kisses. One student recounted an incident where the teacher allegedly attempted to touch him inappropriately and asked for a sextape featuring him and his girlfriend. According to RMC Sport, several students have come forward with similar claims, leading the parents of one to file a formal complaint. All involved minors are aged between 14 and 16 years old. The suspect has admitted to most of the accusations, although he denies the kissing incident.

Previous Offenses Come to Light

This teacher has a troubling history. After joining PSG, he was convicted in May of similar offenses committed in 2021 and has been registered in the national sex offenders database. His trial is set for January 31. In response to the unfolding situation, PSG stated: “As soon as we were informed, the club took all necessary measures. The part-time teacher was suspended, and relevant authorities were alerted without delay, ensuring that the case was addressed immediately. Protecting the integrity of our athletes has always been and remains our top priority.”
