PSG Eyes Khvicha Kvaratskhelia After Mbappé’s Departure to Madrid
As Kylian Mbappé officially joins Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly eager to secure the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to offset his departure. However, during the recent summer transfer window, the Parisian club faced challenges in persuading Napoli’s management. Despite this setback, PSG remains interested in Kvaratskhelia, and fortunately for them, Napoli has yet to extend his contract.
With his contract expiring on June 30, Kylian Mbappé has made the decision to leave PSG. The 25-year-old superstar has signed with Real Madrid on a free transfer.
PSG Has Not Forgotten About Kvaratskhelia

Nevertheless, the higher-ups at PSG have not given up on the Napoli forward and are reportedly prepared to make another attempt in the summer of 2025. Meanwhile, the Azzurri are keen on securing a contract extension for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as soon as possible.
Challenges in Kvaratskhelia’s Contract Extension
According to reports from Il Mattino, Napoli officials have offered Khvicha Kvaratskhelia a new contract worth €5 million annually, aiming to keep him until 2029. Currently, the Georgian international’s contract runs until June 30, 2027, with an annual salary of approximately €1.5 million. The Italian media suggests that Kvaratskhelia’s camp is requesting a better offer from Aurelio De Laurentiis. Luckily for PSG, the gap between the proposal and Kvaratskhelia’s demands is estimated to be around €2.5 million. The situation remains dynamic and worth monitoring…
