PSG Defender Lucas Beraldo Considered for Transfer Amid Winter Mercato Changes

Paris, December 2025 – As the winter transfer window approaches, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is contemplating some strategic changes to its squad. The club, which had a relatively quiet summer in terms of transfers, is now preparing for a more dynamic winter period. The focus will be on both potential arrivals and departures.

PSG plans squad revamp for winter transfer window

**Paris Saint-Germain is set for an active winter transfer window**, looking to strengthen its midfield and attacking line. However, the club is also open to letting some players go, particularly in defense.

**Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo may be on the move**, according to insider sources. Beraldo, who joined PSG from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has not consistently impressed the club’s management or coach Luis Enrique. His future with the team is now uncertain.

Defender’s playing time and market value

**Beraldo has featured in only eight Ligue 1 matches this season** and has yet to make an appearance in the UEFA Champions League. This limited playtime has led PSG to consider a transfer, especially given the defender’s market value.

PSG open to offers

With his current market value estimated at **25 million euros**, Beraldo’s potential departure could be financially beneficial for PSG. The club is open to negotiations if a suitable offer and player interest align. **His contract with PSG runs until June 2028**, leaving ample time for discussions.

This situation is still unfolding, and it remains to be seen how PSG will navigate its winter transfer strategy. **Fans and analysts will be watching closely** to see how the club balances its ambitions with the realities of its current roster.
