Opta’s Updated Top 50 European Clubs: Liverpool Leads After Thrilling Weekend
Monday marks the reveal of Opta’s rankings! As a new week begins, following an exciting weekend of matches, the supercomputer has updated the global standings of the top football clubs. Discover the top 50 here.
The top 50 clubs in Europe have seen some changes. Liverpool remains firmly at the top after an exhilarating 6-3 victory over Tottenham. The Reds not only lead the Premier League but are also at the forefront of the Champions League group stage. It’s hard to imagine a better performance at this point.
Arsenal has slipped to third place, overtaken by Inter Milan, while Paris Saint-Germain is inching closer to breaking into the top five. FC Barcelona has taken a hit after a surprising 2-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid. AS Monaco has dropped four spots, and Olympique de Marseille has fallen one position, while LOSC has also seen a two-place decline.
