Although his departure was a hot topic this summer, Nico Williams has confirmed that he will stay with Athletic Bilbao for the upcoming season. The 22-year-old had several suitors, including Barcelona, a club he dreams of representing one day. PSG, initially involved in discussions, quickly recognized the outcome of the situation. In an interview with DAZN, Williams stated, “My heart is in Bilbao, but no one knows what will happen in the future. It’s always nice when big teams want you. But I’ve always said I wanted to be here. If there was anything, it would have been through my agent. But I wanted to play in Europe with Bilbao.”
