Neymar’s Father Praises Rising Star Désiré Doué for His Captivating Talent
This Tuesday, in an interview with L’Équipe, Neymar’s father expressed his admiration for a Parisian player, whom he sees as one of the few who can truly captivate him during a football match. He also reflected on his son’s career and his time at PSG.
Already recognized in Ligue 1 with Stade Rennais, Désiré Doué has further showcased his talent this season at Paris Saint-Germain. “Today, which players would I pay to see? There are not many who entertain me. Lamine Yamal, (Désiré) Doué, and the Brazilians too: Raphinha, Vinicius Jr… They are the reason we watch football. For them, Neymar is a global reference, an inspiration. When I hear Doué say he loves my son, it makes me happy. Feeling the love from athletes towards him erases all the criticisms from those who judge what he does off the field,” Neymar’s father stated.
