In a segment on Canal Football Club, Jallet commented on Mbappé’s press conference, saying, “His press conference lacks a bit of humanity. He appears robotic and jaded. I think he suffered a lot last season. It’s easy to criticize him constantly, but one must understand what he is going through. Sometimes he invites criticism, and that’s his issue, but there are instances when challenges come unexpectedly. There are both positive and negative aspects to manage.”

Jallet continued, “I believe he endured significant hardship last season.” He concluded by suggesting that Mbappé’s remarks might be his way of asserting that he is doing well despite the challenges, stating, “Perhaps through this kind of discourse, he is conveying that his life is going quite well.”
