Lyon’s OL Welcomes Star Striker Katoto and New Coach Giráldez for New Season

A new chapter begins for the Fenottes. Olympique Lyonnais is now under the management of Jonatan Giráldez, the former coach of FC Barcelona and Washington Spirit. The 33-year-old tactician has just witnessed his new team make a significant move in the transfer market.


It was anticipated and is now official! Olympique Lyonnais has announced the signing of Marie-Antoinette Katoto. The French striker, who was a free agent after leaving PSG, has committed to the Fenottes until June 2029.

This is a major coup for the Rhone club. Over the past few seasons, Marie-Antoinette Katoto has been a prolific scorer at PSG, netting 162 goals in just over 200 appearances. Now, at 26 years old, she aims to continue her scoring streak in Lyon.
