Enrique expressed his support for Zaire-Emery during a press conference, highlighting the player’s potential and perseverance.
“Having a player like Warren Zaïre-Emery is a real delight for a coach like me. He’s an incredible player with top-notch behavior and skill. He needs to keep doing what he’s doing. He’s been, is, and will be a significant player. It’s common for players to experience ups and downs. My advice is to stay the course because he embodies what a PSG player should be,” Enrique stated, aiming to boost the player’s confidence.
Zaire-Emery determined to reclaim starting position
Warren Zaire-Emery is aware of the challenges he faces and is committed to reclaiming his spot as a starter in PSG’s lineup. After the victory against Angers in the second round of the championship, he shared his ambitions in a post-match interview.
“My goal is to regain confidence, enjoy playing again, and earn my place back. Just like two years ago, last year, that’s the aim. I’ll give my best to rebuild my self-belief. I know what needs to be done,” he affirmed.
