An important opening match for the Red and Blue as they face expectations not only from the Italians but also from other competing teams. During a press conference on Tuesday, Luis Enrique expressed his clear ambition: to secure a second consecutive Champions League title with the capital’s club.

“After being crowned European champions with the club, the city, and our fans, our goal is to make history once more and win a second consecutive Champions League. Ambition is key. The first title is always the hardest because players doubt their capabilities. But we’ve shown the way. Now, everyone at PSG and the young players are eager to win because they know they can. In my experience, winning the first is more challenging than the second or third,” he stated to the journalists.

Who will start against Atalanta?

Who will be in Luis Enrique’s starting eleven for this season’s Champions League opener? With Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and possibly Khvicha Kvaratskhelia out due to injuries, the Spanish coach needs to reshuffle his attacking lineup. Bradley Barcola, Gonçalo Ramos, and Kang-In Lee are expected to lead the attack.

The predicted PSG lineup: Chevalier – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes – Vitinha, Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz – Lee (or Kvaratskhelia), Ramos, Barcola.
