Ligue 1 Budget Rankings: PSG Dominates with €850M, OM Second at €460M
Paris Saint-Germain leads the Ligue 1 budget rankings for the 2025-2026 season. Olympique de Marseille follows in second place, significantly ahead of AS Monaco and Paris FC.
As the new season unfolds, one of the recurring questions in Ligue 1 is about the financial clout of each club. According to recent reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) stands out with a staggering budget of €850 million, outpacing all its competitors combined. Following PSG, the Olympique de Marseille holds the second spot with a budget of €260 million, while AS Monaco and Paris FC are further behind, with budgets of €140 million and €130 million, respectively. Newly promoted Paris FC aims to establish itself as a formidable contender in the league.
In contrast, Olympique Lyonnais has seen a decline, operating this season on a budget of just €110 million. At the bottom of the table, both Le Havre and SCO Angers are struggling with budgets of merely €25 million each. Meanwhile, despite a commendable Champions League campaign last season, Stade Brestois 29 reports only €35 million.
