Kylian Mbappé’s Dream Realized: Leaving PSG for Real Madrid
At just 25 years old, Kylian Mbappé has achieved a lifelong dream: joining Real Madrid. Since childhood, he envisioned himself wearing the iconic Merengue jersey, and that dream has now come true. This summer, he made a significant move from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after seven remarkable years. However, could his passion for PSG reignite in the future? That remains uncertain.
Recruited by PSG in 2017 for a staggering €180 million, Kylian Mbappé spent seven seasons with the club, cementing his status as its all-time leading scorer. It was a fairytale journey that came to a dramatic end during the last summer transfer window. Following a bitter dispute with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi over his unwillingness to extend his contract, Mbappé ultimately signed with Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Could Kylian Mbappé Return to PSG?
Are Kylian Mbappé’s goodbyes to PSG truly final? Will we see him back in Paris someday? On the set of Canal Football Club, former player Samir Nasri shared his thoughts about Mbappé’s potential return: “It often ends poorly for players at PSG. If Mbappé had the chance to sign with PSG again, I don’t think he would, considering what has happened.”

Mbappé’s Emotional Return to Parc des Princes
On September 6, Kylian Mbappé made a notable return to Paris, stepping onto the field at Parc des Princes for a match between the French national team and Italy. When asked about revisiting the stadium where he spent seven years, Mbappé expressed his mixed feelings: “It’s special. I have spent a lot of years here and have countless memories. It’s the stadium I know best. I have only great memories with my family, teammates, and the club. It’s wonderful. As for the reception tomorrow, I don’t expect much. It doesn’t matter to me. The most important thing is to win and to start this return on a positive note.” Unfortunately for Mbappé, the match did not go as hoped, with France suffering a 3-1 defeat to Italy.
