Kylian Mbappé Claims €55M from PSG Amid Ongoing Legal Dispute
Kylian Mbappé, who departed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after a seven-year tenure to join Real Madrid this summer, is far from having severed ties with the club. The French forward has lodged a complaint with the LFP’s legal commission over unpaid salaries and bonuses, claiming a total of €55 million. Amid this ongoing dispute, Mbappé addressed the issue during a press conference on Thursday, providing insight into his feelings regarding the situation.
On September 11, Kylian Mbappé will face PSG in front of the LFP’s legal commission. A preliminary meeting has been scheduled to resolve the financial conflict between the two parties. Now with Real Madrid, Mbappé is adamant in his demand for €55 million from PSG for outstanding wages and bonuses.
“I have only good memories of PSG”
Throughout this tumultuous relationship with PSG, Kylian Mbappé has largely refrained from commenting publicly. However, during a press conference ahead of the upcoming match between the French national team and Italy in the Nations League, he was asked about his conflict with the club. Keeping his remarks succinct, Mbappé stated, “I have only good memories of PSG. I wish them all the best.”
Mbappé’s return to Parc des Princes
As he prepares to confront PSG in the legal realm, Kylian Mbappé will make his return to Parc des Princes this Friday evening for the match between France and Italy. Reflecting on his upcoming visit to the stadium where he spent many formative years, he shared with reporters, “It’s special. I spent a lot of years here, and I have countless memories. It’s the stadium I know best. I have only great memories here with my family, teammates, and the club. It’s wonderful. Now, regarding the reception I might receive tomorrow, I don’t expect anything. It doesn’t matter to me. The most important thing is to win; it’s really about starting this season positively.”
