Uncertain future for Kolo Muani at Paris Saint-Germain

Randal Kolo Muani’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain is becoming increasingly difficult. On Tuesday night, the French striker did not play a single minute in PSG’s Champions League loss against Bayern Munich, which ended 1-0.

RB Leipzig shows interest

Further complicating matters, PSG coach Luis Enrique opted to field another striker, bringing in Gonçalo Ramos during the second half after a three-month absence. This lack of playing time has caught the attention of various European clubs.

According to German media, RB Leipzig is reportedly interested in acquiring Kolo Muani, potentially as soon as this winter. The Bundesliga club appreciates Kolo Muani’s playing style and appears optimistic about the possibility of signing him.

However, if a move does not materialize during the winter transfer window, Leipzig might revisit their interest in the summer, aiming for the 2025-2026 season.

No immediate departure planned

Despite ongoing speculation, Kolo Muani is not expected to leave PSG this winter. In a recent interview, he expressed his commitment to proving himself at the Parisian club.

“A departure in January? No, I have never considered leaving PSG in January. I believe I must continue working hard, showcasing my abilities, and giving my all. I’m trying to surround myself with a support team, including a physiotherapist, a fitness coach, and a chef, to optimize my performance. I hope to see positive results. You can’t give up, if you do, you’re finished,” he stated.
