The Paris labor court dismissed all of Hamraoui’s claims against the club, despite her request for 3.5 million euros. This outcome marks a significant setback in her legal battle against PSG.
Appeal in the works
Hamraoui’s legal representative, Maître Garbarini, expressed determination to challenge the decision. “We will appeal this ruling and present our case in court. I’m optimistic as I am well-acquainted with the details of this case. We will highlight the club’s repeated actions that led to this moral harassment,” he stated, as reported by L’Equipe.
A legal advisor’s perspective
Continuing his remarks, Hamraoui’s advisor expressed disappointment over the court’s inability to recognize the presented evidence. “I’m disappointed that the labor court did not fully appreciate the evidence we provided for Ms. Hamraoui’s defense, nor did it hold PSG accountable for moral harassment. However, we anticipated that PSG would appeal if the decision was in our favor,” he explained.
New beginnings for Hamraoui
After officially parting ways with PSG in 2023, Kheira Hamraoui embarked on a new chapter with Club América, a team based in Mexico, where she played for one season.
