In an interview with As, the Al-Ittihad striker commented on the PSG number 10’s triumph at the end of September. “He has overcome very challenging moments. He is a good person, a phenomenon, a great player,” Benzema stated. He added, “His journey in Paris has been exceptional. He won the Ballon d’Or in Paris due to his many goals scored at crucial moments. He truly deserved it,” hinting at Dembélé’s decisive goals in the Champions League.

Ousmane Dembélé has struggled with injuries since the start of the season and is currently dealing with a calf issue sustained against Bayern Munich (1-2) just before the international break.
