“Vitinha and Neves possess the strength and ability to play in all three midfield positions,” noted Didier Domi. “Zaïre-Emery and Ruiz are more like relay players. The two Portuguese are more complete, even if they lack the physicality that Warren brings. A team is always stronger with two players in the midfield who possess above-average ball control. They remind me of the partnership between Thiago Motta and Marco Verratti, or even Luka Modric and Toni Kroos if we push it a bit. The essence is there: these two really have a flair for football,” Domi added in an interview with Le Parisien.
