Joane Gadou Joins Red Bull Salzburg: PSG’s Record Youth Transfer

In a significant move for both player and club, 17-year-old Joane Gadou, a promising talent from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has signed a contract with Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg, extending until June 2027. This transfer marks Gadou as the most expensive youth player sold in PSG’s history, a noteworthy achievement for the young defender standing at 1.95 meters tall. Bernhard Seonbuchner, the sporting director of Red Bull Salzburg, expressed his excitement over this acquisition.

Gadou expresses enthusiasm

In his first comments since the transfer, Gadou shared his enthusiasm: “I am very happy to have signed with FC Red Bull Salzburg and I can’t wait to step onto the pitch.
