Former PSG Teammate Praises Mbappé’s Humility and Positive Attitude
A former teammate of Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-Germain shares insights into the French star’s demeanor in the capital.
Recruited over a year ago by Paris Saint-Germain, Manuel Ugarte has struggled to secure his position within the club. Despite showing promise initially, the Uruguayan international eventually fell down the pecking order of midfielders under Luis Enrique’s management. This led to his transfer to Manchester United during the last summer transfer window.
Nevertheless, Ugarte harbors no resentment. Displaying remarkable grace, he spoke highly of Paris Saint-Germain. “The PSG is a major club, renowned worldwide for its star players. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and learned a great deal,” he shared with Inside United.
Mbappé praised as an exceptional individual
Beyond praising the club, Manuel Ugarte expressed admiration for none other than Kylian Mbappé. Contrary to the sometimes arrogant image portrayed of the 2018 World Cup winner, Ugarte insists otherwise. He describes Kylian Mbappé as remarkably modest within the confines of the locker room.
“Training with the best is incredible. Kylian Mbappé was outstanding. Very humble. I’m grateful for my experience in Paris, which instilled in me a passion for winning trophies. Paris is a team that knows how to win,” concluded the Celeste’s defensive midfielder.
