On Tuesday, in Doha, the FIFA The Best ceremony took place to celebrate the best of 2025. The team of the year was announced, featuring many players from Paris and young talent Lamine Yamal.

Following the Ballon d’Or presentation in Paris over two months ago, another prestigious event unfolded on December 16, 2025, in Doha. FIFA hosted the The Best awards ceremony in Qatar, recognizing outstanding achievements in football, including the team of the year.

The lineup prominently features several Parisian stars: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha, and Ousmane Dembélé. Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk bolsters the defense. Midfielders Pedri and Cole Palmer are included, while Lamine Yamal shines in the forward position alongside Jude Bellingham, who, despite not having his best season at Real Madrid, garnered enough votes to secure his spot. Notably absent from this elite selection are Raphinha, Harry Kane, and Kylian Mbappé.
