Fabian Ruiz Nears Return to PSG After Injury, Misses Brest Match This Saturday
Fabian Ruiz, who suffered an adductor injury earlier this month, is inching closer to making his return to PSG. However, the Spanish midfielder will not travel with the squad to Brest this Saturday (5:00 PM).
Good news is finally accumulating for the capital club. After facing numerous injuries since the start of the season, Paris Saint-Germain is gradually regaining the squad that led them to last season’s Champions League triumph. Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, and Marquinhos have recently returned to action.
This Saturday, only Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz, who is still sidelined due to his adductor injury, will be absent for the match against Stade Brestois (5:00 PM). The Portuguese player has already resumed collective training, but Ruiz has not yet returned. Nonetheless, he could soon be back on the pitch in Ligue 1.
Return Expected Next Week
According to reports from Le Parisien, the former Napoli player is expected to return to competitive play next week. Assuming there are no setbacks or further issues, the left-footer should be part of the squad traveling to Lorient on Wednesday (7:00 PM). This return is notably well-timed.
Luis Enrique will have his player available at a crucial moment, as PSG’s schedule is set to intensify before the international break, with matches every three days. Next week, PSG will host OGC Nice (Nov 1) before facing a pivotal Champions League clash against Bayern Munich (Nov 4).
