Fabian Ruiz Eyes Move to Real Madrid Amid PSG Tensions

Under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30, 2027, Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz may be preparing for a move to join Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid. Reports suggest that the Merengues are keen on securing his services next year, with Ruiz himself seemingly open to the transition, particularly due to a strained relationship with coach Luis Enrique.

Since arriving at PSG in the summer of 2022, Ruiz could potentially be facing his final months in Paris. After an impressive performance during the Euro tournament with the Spanish national team, the midfielder has caught the attention of the Real Madrid hierarchy. According to Eduardo Inda, the head of Ok Diario, the club is interested in bringing Ruiz on board by 2025. Compounding the situation for PSG, Ruiz is reportedly willing to make the switch to the Spanish giants due to his complicated dynamics with Enrique.

Real Madrid’s Interest in Ruiz

“He is a player who wants to leave his current club because of poor relations with the coach. Last year, he was not a regular starter, but he shone on the international stage at the Euro. Real Madrid has taken a liking to him and is interested in the possibility of signing him. He is unhappy with Luis Enrique, and their relationship has been tense. Enrique did not select him for the World Cup in Qatar,” revealed Eduardo Inda during an appearance on El Chiringuito.

Ruiz Set for Reunion with Mbappé

If Ruiz joins Real Madrid in 2025, he will reunite with Kylian Mbappé, his former teammate at PSG. The talented forward, whose contract with the Parisian club expires on June 30, 2024, is also expected to make a free transfer to the Bernabéu under the stewardship of Florentino Pérez.
