Cyril Hanouna Responds to Calls for Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s Exit
Since Qatar’s acquisition of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has held the position of president. However, his leadership has not garnered unanimous support among critics, sparking discussions about the necessity for a change at the helm of the club. Recently, the name Cyril Hanouna has surfaced as a potential successor, prompting a response from the man himself regarding this intriguing possibility.
In 2011, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was appointed president of PSG by the Emir of Qatar, tasked with steering the ambitious Parisian project. The pressing question now is whether he still embodies the right leadership for Paris. Doubts are growing, and calls for Al-Khelaïfi’s departure are becoming more prominent.
Cyril Hanouna: A Better Choice for PSG?
During a segment on Europe 1, columnist Géraldine Maillet voiced her support for Nasser Al-Khelaïfi’s exit. She proposed that the presidency of PSG could be handed over to Cyril Hanouna, stating, “Nasser should no longer lead PSG. He needs to step aside, perhaps for Cyril. Cyril is a much better businessman; he understands the intricacies of the industry. He would be far superior to Nasser.”

Cyril Hanouna’s Take on the Presidency Debate
So, what does Cyril Hanouna think about potentially taking over from Nasser Al-Khelaïfi? When questioned about his suitability as president of PSG, Hanouna responded candidly, “Am I a better president than Nasser? Oh no, not at all. There will never be a better president than Nasser. We are fortunate to have him. Without him, we would be in a dire situation. Thankfully, he is here,” he remarked during his show on Europe 1.
