Champions League 2025/26: Performance Bonuses and Financial Breakdown Revealed

As the draw for the group stage of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League is set to take place on Thursday, August 28, the details of performance bonuses for this season have been revealed.

Paris Saint-Germain is defending its title in this year’s Champions League. After their victory last May, the Parisian club is making a grand return to the competition, joined by fellow French representatives Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco.

Last season, PSG earned the highest amount from the Champions League campaign, raking in a total of €148.42 million. This figure includes €44.73 million from the distribution of broadcasting rights and €103.69 million in performance-related bonuses. Lille OSC, the second highest-earning French club, made €78.72 million from their impressive Champions League run.

For this edition, the performance bonuses remain largely consistent with those from the 2024/25 season, although they may see a slight increase for the eventual champion, depending on a particularly successful group stage.
