Bradley Barcola Overcomes Challenges to Shine Again at PSG
Bradley Barcola shines again after challenging times
Paris, December 2024 – Bradley Barcola has made an impressive comeback after enduring a difficult period earlier this year. The talented winger, who represents France internationally, struggled to find the back of the net for several weeks during the latter months of 2024.
Confidence from the coach
This drought coincided with the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the winter transfer window. Despite the pressure, Paris Saint-Germain’s coach, Luis Enrique, expressed unwavering belief in Barcola’s abilities. “The addition of Kvara aimed to enhance the team. Each player challenges their counterpart. Barcola is still young with a bright future ahead,” Enrique stated confidently at a press conference on Saturday.
Barcola’s significant improvement
Even during his goal-scoring struggles, the former Olympique Lyonnais star contributed significantly to PSG’s efforts. “During the period when he scored less, he was still crucial in providing assists. I’ve noticed an improvement in his defensive work,” the Spanish coach remarked.
This season, Barcola has scored 16 goals across 36 matches in all competitions. As PSG prepares to face Olympique Lyonnais at the Groupama Stadium in the closing match of Ligue 1’s 23rd round, the 22-year-old winger is expected to start once again, continuing his journey back to top form.
