Arnau Tenas Reflects on His Memorable Journey at PSG: Growth and Gratitude
Arnau Tenas, though not a key player for PSG, reflects on a pivotal chapter in his career while acknowledging the club’s impact on his development.
From 2023 to 2025, Arnau Tenas was part of Paris Saint-Germain, where he served as the third-choice goalkeeper. Despite limited playing time, the Spanish keeper fondly recalls his time in the French capital, having joined the club from FC Barcelona to back up Gianluigi Donnarumma.
With only eight appearances across all competitions, Tenas seized the opportunity to develop his skills. His tenure at PSG significantly enriched his trophy cabinet, earning him two Ligue 1 titles, two French Cups, and a coveted Champions League title with the Parisian side.
Arnau Tenas praises his PSG experience
Now playing for Villarreal after his summer departure, the 23-year-old goalkeeper shared insights in a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo. “Moving to Paris was an incredible experience. I felt at home from day one,” he expressed. Tenas noted that he grew significantly during his time there, both professionally and personally.
He also praised coach Luis Enrique, stating, “He is a fantastic coach. He demonstrated how to win titles through hard work and having a strong team.” This positive testimony reflects that even without being a starter, Tenas’s Parisian experience left a lasting impression on him.
